OMS Lubritek are a Bradford-based oil management service provider with over 70 years of expertise, serving the UK's plastic moulding, marine, and power generation industries. When they approached Wakefield Website Design, their existing site no longer reflected the professionalism of the business or the depth of services they offer. They needed a modern, fast, and feature-rich website that would work hard for them - educating prospects, supporting existing clients, and ranking well in search.

The Brief

OMS Lubritek came to us with a clear set of requirements. They wanted a complete redesign that would position them as the go-to specialists in hydraulic oil management in the UK. Key priorities included:

A clean, professional design befitting a well-established B2B brand
A members-only download area so trade partners and clients could access product data sheets, technical documents, and oil analysis reports
A WordPress CMS so their team could manage content, news, and product updates without needing a developer every time
Strong on-page SEO to help them rank for target keywords across their core services
High-speed hosting with caching to deliver a fast, reliable experience for users across the UK

Our Approach

WordPress & Elementor Build

We built the new OMS Lubritek website on WordPress, using Elementor as the page builder to give us full design flexibility while keeping the back end intuitive for the client to manage. The result is a site that looks bespoke but is entirely editable by the OMS Lubritek team - no technical knowledge required.

All service pages, product listings, blog posts, testimonials, and news articles are fully manageable through the WordPress dashboard. We structured the content carefully to reflect their core offering: oil management services, product supply, oil analysis, and their growing range of specialist lubricants.

Members Area for Secure Downloads

One of the standout features of this project was building a password-protected members area, giving OMS Lubritek's trade partners and clients gated access to technical documentation including product data sheets, safety data sheets, and oil analysis reports.

This solved a real business problem - previously, sensitive technical documents were being shared via email on an ad hoc basis. Now, clients can log in and access everything they need in one place, while OMS Lubritek retains full control over who can access what.

SEO

Search engine optimisation was built into the project from the ground up rather than bolted on at the end. We carried out keyword research focused on OMS Lubritek's core services and target industries, then structured the site architecture and page content around those findings.

Each page was optimised with targeted title tags, meta descriptions, header structure, and internal linking to help search engines - and users - understand exactly what OMS Lubritek do and who they do it for. With clients including major names like ARBURG UK, Hellermanntyton, and Polypipe, there was strong social proof to work with, and we made sure it was prominently positioned throughout the site.

High-Speed Hosting & Performance

Site speed matters - both for user experience and for Google rankings. We migrated OMS Lubritek onto our high-performance hosting with full server-level caching configured to ensure the site loads quickly for visitors across the UK.

The result? An A grade on GTMetrix speed tests, putting the site well ahead of most competitors in their sector. Fast load times, properly optimised images, and clean code all contribute to a site that performs as well as it looks.
