1 Vision Art is a Yorkshire-based wall art supplier specialising in premium, hand-finished framed artwork for the trade market. Their customers include retail stores, interior designers, hotels, bars, restaurants, and commercial fit-out contractors across the UK. Every piece is handmade in their studio and supplied at exclusive trade prices - making the buying experience, and how they present it online, central to their business model.

The Brief

1 Vision Art came to us needing a complete website build from scratch. The site needed to do something specific: act as a gated B2B trade portal, not a standard public-facing shop. Pricing and product listings had to be invisible to the general public, accessible only to verified trade accounts.

The key requirements were:

• A professional, high-end design that reflected the quality of the artwork
• A trade account signup system with a manual approval process before access was granted
• A fully locked WooCommerce shop - products, pricing, and purchasing restricted to approved members only
• Shipping rules designed to incentivise larger orders, including free delivery above a set order threshold
• Clear, persuasive homepage copy to convert trade visitors into account applications

Our Approach

We built the site on WordPress with WooCommerce, giving the client a platform they could manage and grow without technical knowledge. The design direction was editorial and premium - full-width imagery, bold typography, and a dark, confident aesthetic that communicates quality at a glance. This wasn't a discount marketplace; it needed to feel like a brand their trade customers would be proud to buy from.

The trade access system was built to require new users to complete a dedicated signup form before being granted any access to the shop. Until approved, visitors see the products teased on the homepage but cannot browse pricing or add anything to a basket. Approval is handled manually by the 1 Vision Art team, keeping control firmly with the client and ensuring only legitimate trade businesses gain access.

Once approved, trade users log in to a fully functional WooCommerce store with access to the complete product catalogue, trade pricing, and a smooth purchasing experience.

On the shipping side, we configured tiered delivery rules with free shipping automatically applied to orders over £500 - a deliberate commercial decision to encourage higher-value orders and reduce basket abandonment at checkout.
